I am a recreational pilot. I wear progressive lenses. I can't wear polarized eyewear due to flying. I would be interested in a frame that aided my peripheral vision. I also cycle a good deal.
Hi Charles! If you're looking for more peripheral range in your field of view, you may want to opt for a 6 or 8 base wrapped frame. There may be some limitations as to what frames will work depending on the strength of the prescription, but also keep in mind that you'll experience some peripheral distortion with a progressive lens either way due to its design. However, if you're not heavily reliant upon the reading portion, a single vision Rx will deliver the widest viewing perspective possible.
